About the hotel
The Esplanade is a big four-star family hotel on Esplanade Road, set above the southern end of Fistral Beach in Newquay. It is built around children's entertainment: a heated indoor pool and hot tub, games and cinema rooms, indoor and outdoor play areas and free children's activities in the school holidays, with a Quiksilver surf school on site.
There are 90 rooms, including family rooms and sea-view options. Meals are in the Cove Restaurant, with drinks in the Elements cocktail bar, and breakfast is charged separately. It works best for families with young children and for surfers; couples after somewhere quiet may prefer its sister hotel nearby.
Rooms: Standard Single Room, Standard Single Room with Sea View, Family Room, Family Room with Sea View.
