Who we are
Stay with EV (staywithev.co.uk) is an independent guide to UK hotels with EV charging. Contact: hello@staywithev.co.uk.
What we collect
Browsing the site doesn't require an account or any personal details. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) keeps standard server logs, such as IP address and pages requested, for security and to keep the site running.
Cookies
We use Google Analytics to see which pages are useful, but only if you click Accept on the cookie notice. Until then, Google Analytics sets no cookies. If you accept, it sets cookies (named _ga and _ga_…) that count visits and clicks, including clicks on booking buttons. We don't use advertising cookies, and Google's ad features are turned off.
Your choice is saved in your browser so we don't ask again. You can change it at any time with Cookie settings, which is also in the footer.
Booking links
"Check prices" buttons go through Stay22, an affiliate service, to Booking.com, Hotels.com or Expedia. When you click one, Stay22 and the booking site may set their own cookies to record that the booking came from us. Their privacy policies cover what they collect.
If you email us, we use your message and address only to reply and to update listings. We don't add you to a mailing list or share your details.
Your rights
Under UK and EU data protection law you can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (UK) or the Data Protection Commission (Ireland).
